this is a tough call.I would think early money have to be on tenn to good to be true.No matter how i want to bet on tenn theres something about the pats at home this year not to mention there record ats.Im leaning on the pats why buckem since they have been doing all the bucken ill wait for 5 or buy then hedge
Oh Its definitely a trap all right...The New England trap...and Ive fallen for it all year but not this time. They cover when they are not supposed to...Obviously they cant cover this spread by marching up and down the field at will but when Mcnair gets picked off 3 times and he will...7 looks like a gift..an especially late won at this time of year...
I planned to say this in another thread, but it might as well go here. I've never done this before, but the way things have gone, the jig is up. I'm going to go the exact opposite of what I think. Can't be much worse.
I think the line is out of wack and Tennessee getting 6 is like having money jump off the street and into your left front pocket. As soon as I bet the Patriots, sorry, but you guys are fvcked if you're on 'em.
I love the Rams,(wrong thread?) like the Eagles, and actually think the Colts are going to further expose the Chefs in similar Denver- like fashion.

My normal unit size is 250-300 a game, so there you have it. I'm not sure if you should fade these or ignore them. Oh yeah, I also like over 36.5 under 45 over 50 and over 42. In the playoffs there are rarely holding calls, offenses, even though the linemaker knows this, have the best of it. So I guess I'll be playing three unders and one over, but I don't play totals often so we'll see. Thanks.

It amuses me how week in and week out, people are still going against the Pats with great confidence, when all New England does is win and cover (Jax -7, NYJ -3, Buffalo -8) week in and week out.
Without a doubt, they are the best team in the NFL. 7-0 vs. teams versus winning records. They've won the close ones, which means they know how to close out games. I don't think a team that wins 12 in a row can be called "overrated." Granted the Pats don't really blow anyone away, they have been downright nasty at home. What're the stat? 1 TD given up @ home over the past 5 games? 3 Shutouts?
Tennessee is a damn good team, don't get me wrong. Yet I don't think they are in the same league as the Pats. They had a great game last week...but they're tired and beat up. The Pats, meanwhile, are coming off a Bye week, fully rested. You can be sure Belichick has been spending every waking hour figuring out the game plan. And also, I don't see Tenn winning 2 playoff games in a row on the road. Baltimore's defense matches up with NE's, but look at the offense. Anthony Wright is god aweful and had Balt had a half way decent QB, they would have won that game.
In addition, NE has already beaten Tennessee early this season, 38-30, but we can throw that out the window (Denver 31, Indi 24 anyone). This is a different Patriots team, at that point they were banged up and coming off a tough loss vs. the Redskins. This time around Ted Washington'll be up front, which leads me to believe that Eddie George will have a tough time doing much. That leaves only the pass to worry about and Belichick and Defensive Coordinator Romeo Crennel will whip up plenty of schemes to stop Tennessee's offense. Belichick is a master at coming up with game plans that cause the opposing QBs to lose rythm and be forced into making mistakes. As for the Pats offense, they can't run and don't make any qualms about it. They've won 12 weeks in a row w.o a running game, so I don't think that's going to be a factor.
In all honesty, if there is anything that I have reservations about is the fact that the soil in CMGI Field was just recently changed. In all reality, this shouldn't be a problem, unless the Pats pyche plays into this, they give up a quick TD and start to worry that the "new" field might have something to do with their play. I don't think they're that kind of team though, and I estimate the final score to be something like:

Some things that are keeping me off of the Titans as of now, is the simple fact that the McNair is hobbling and George with injury is now one dimensional. As of Tuesday both were still feeling the pains of last week as expected. Also, having to play with these injuries in very cold temperature and on a slippery field , doesnt bold well for McNair. Against Coaches like Bellichick, coming in with a weakness of some sort will be exploited and attacked early and often. I expect a low scoring game, but I also see several more turn overs by the Titans, because of Bellichek and his attack Def. Will need to see how they are before this game.
